Everything the program needs. Nothing it doesn't.

Stone keeps the 5×5 loop fast and hard to mess up, then quietly handles the math, the history, and the edge cases for you.

Progression on autopilot

Add weight each session, and deload after three misses. Or set your own increment and deload logic. Stone tracks the streaks and tells you exactly what to lift next.

Programs your way

Run 5×5, 3×5, 1×5, or 3×8. Tune working sets, reps, and the weight jump for each lift independently.

Swap any lift

Hack squat for cranky knees, leg press when the rack is taken. The substitute inherits your weight, plate math, and PRs.

Easy accessories

Add chin-ups, dips, or curls, and more below your main work. Logged in history, never crowding your progress chart.

History, progress, and PRs

Weekly volume, streaks, inactivity deloads, and PR-aware analytics.

Plates, warmups, timer

See the exact plates to load, follow guided warmup sets, and let the rest timer count between working sets.

Make it yours

Light or dark, four accent colors, alternate app icons, pounds or kilos. Looks great by default, yours to tune.

Questions

Do I need an account?

No. Stone never asks you to sign up or hand over an email. Open the app and start logging – everything is stored locally on your iPhone.

Is this a subscription?

No, and it never will be. Logging is free for 14 days, then a single $9.99 purchase unlocks it for good. The purchase works with Family Sharing.

Can I import my Stronglifts history?

Yes, for free. Export a Stronglifts CSV, import it in Stone, and your main lifts, variations, and accessory work come across. Imported history never starts your trial.

Can I get my data back out?

Always. Export everything to CSV or JSON whenever you like. Viewing and exporting your own training history is free forever – Stone will never lock you out of it.

Does my data sync to the cloud?

No. Stone is local-first, so your data lives on your device, not on a server. iCloud Documents backup is on the roadmap, but there is no account and no required sync.

What do I need to use Stone?

An iPhone on iOS 17 or later. Stone is iPhone-only and works in pounds or kilograms, whichever you prefer.
